Welcome to Ravenstone Primary School.
We are a vibrant inner city school, proud of the achievements of our children and the huge variety of experiences and opportunities for learning that we offer.
We have high expectations of our children academically, but also offer them the chance to develop skills in music, art, dance, drama and sport.
We care about our children and the result, we hope, is self confident individuals who are able to achieve their full potential and feel equipped for a life of achievement.

Passport to Numeracy

At the start of this term we launched our Passport to Numeracy. This is a maths support  for Year 1-6 which we hope will encourage the learning, understanding, enjoyment and development of number skills needed in order to become a skilled and confident mathematician.

In some form we use maths skills every day, maths is a powerful tool for understanding the world, and understanding how the number system works, being confident in its use is vital to the development and enjoyment  of independence in mathematics.

We hope you will enjoy encouraging your child to travel round the world by learning and using the tasks in the Passport.

Happy travels.

Music at Ravenstone

Choir Year 4 trumpets! Clarinets! Choir

Music is a huge and important part of life at Ravenstone. We have an amazing music teacher and choir master, MJ Paranzino, who is very keen on developing musical skills from a young age. As a result, every Key Stage 2 class learns a musical instrument.

Playtime activities

 play  play  play  play

Playtime is an important part of a Ravenstone child’s day as it is a chance to break away from the hard work going on in the classroom. To enhance the children’s enjoyment at playtime activities are organised and equipment is put out for children to take and use for the whole playtime.

Inter-school competitions

Volleyball Tournament March '06  Wandsworth Champions   Volleyball Tournament March 06 Basketball Competition 08

Ravenstone has entered a lot of competitions recently and won most of them. We are proud of the people that represented the school. We mainly compete against schools in the borough of Wandsworth and if we win we go onto face teams from other boroughs. The reason Ravenstone has entered these competitions is because we would like children to get into activities, and not just because they want to win but because they want to represent the school. We want to achieve and make the school proud.
