Passport to Numeracy
At the start of this term we launched our Passport to Numeracy. This is a maths support for Year 1-6 which we hope will encourage the learning, understanding, enjoyment and development of number skills needed in order to become a skilled and confident mathematician.
In some form we use maths skills every day, maths is a powerful tool for understanding the world, and understanding how the number system works, being confident in its use is vital to the development and enjoyment of independence in mathematics.
We hope you will enjoy encouraging your child to travel round the world by learning and using the tasks in the Passport.
Happy travels.

Music at Ravenstone
Music is a huge and important part of life at Ravenstone. We have an amazing music teacher and choir master, MJ Paranzino, who is very keen on developing musical skills from a young age. As a result, every Key Stage 2 class learns a musical instrument.
