START OF DAY
The Nursery gate is opened at 9.00. At the start of the year parents and children come into the Nursery and hang their coats up, find their names and settle at an activity. By the summer term the children line up with their parents outside the doors and then come in by themselves. The gate is supervised and locked at 9.05.
END OF DAY
The Nursery gate will be opened at 11.30 and 3.10. Please come to the Nursery doors. The children will be called when we know you are there. It is important that your child is collected on time as they will be tired and may become anxious. They do not like to be the last. If you have older children in the school we ask that you collect your child from the Nursery first. Please telephone the school if you have a problem and are going to be late. Your child must be brought and collected from the Nursery by a named adult. If your child is going to be collected by someone unknown to us, you must let us know. To ensure the security of our site, the external gates will not be opened for the end of the day collection until 3pm.
START OF DAY
Children go into Reception through the doors directly from the playground into the classrooms (on the Elmfield Road side of the school). Please wait in the playground until the classroom doors are opened in the morning. Children make their own way into the classroom in order to promote their independence.
END OF DAY
When you collect your child at the end of the day, you should wait in the playground until the classroom door is opened. When they see you, staff will call your child to come out and meet you. It is also important that your child is collected on time as they will be tired and may become anxious if they are last to go home. Please telephone the school if you have a problem and are going to be late.
Your child must be brought to and collected from their class by a named adult. If your child is going to be collected by someone unknown to us, you must let us know.
