As part of the Year 4 geography unit “Improving our Environment”, both Year 4 classes have been working on designs for improving the new school pond. They have been researching ponds and pond life on the internet, using a wide range of books and specialist literature on ponds as well as visiting local ponds in the area to develop their pond knowledge. Both classes will present their ideas to their teachers, the school council and Mr Millington before the winning design is selected and improvements made to the pond.
