Good Morning Year 5,
We hope you had a good day yesterday and had some fun as well.
Today, your work on Mirodo for English is going to be about formal and informal language and for Maths it is going to be about writing fractions as decimals. If you are looking for some more Maths to get your hands on, visit the Home Learning page on White Rose Maths website. There are 4 lessons that you can work your way through. You can watch the videos and do the worksheet that they provide - it doesn't matter if you can't print it off, just use a scrap piece of paper!
For the Topic part of the daily homework, you can either host a family show assembly, show casing a piece of work you've done this week that has made you particularly proud. You can create a couple of values or curriculum certificates and given them to a member of your family for something they've done that week that was great. The other option is to research about a famous scientist who has pondered or researched about gravity and write a mini-autobiography about them.
Don’t forget to share any of your work with us by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you want to share any weekly blog posts with me on Google Classroom, I would love to read them (thanks to those who've already done it!)
Have a good day.
Miss Collyer, Miss Duckworth, Mandee and Steve
