Ravenstone Primary School

Headteachers Welcome

A message from the Headteacher

The moment I became Headteacher at Ravenstone in 2016, I knew that it was an incredibly special school.

I could not be prouder of the children, staff and community around us. We have achieved so much in the recent years and we have secured a culture and ethos within the school that is of high aspirations, care and a relentless drive to provide the children with the very best start in life.

At Ravenstone our values of Happy, Kind, Creative, Honest and Determined shape the decisions we made and the experiences the children are offered.

We have a vision where our children will reach their potential. To achieve this, we provide our pupils with the skills and knowledge to thrive in this modern world. Our curriculum is based on a mastery approach and every lesson and every experience is tailored towards ensuring that every pupil succeeds.

I believe that the success of a school is down to its teachers and I am proud to say that everything we focus on and do is to develop as professionals and deliver the best possible education for every child in our school. We constantly strive to improve and introduce initiatives that will inspire every pupil to achieve and become motivated individuals who can succeed in their futures.

Strong partnerships with parents are part of our success, as is our committed community who work together to improve the school and outcomes for our children. The partnership of the Wandle Learning Trust allows us to share best practise across our family of schools and we use this to harness the most up to date research and initiatives.

Please do spend time looking through our website which will guide you through our curriculum intent, approach, vision and values.  There are also several videos and guides to help explain our wonderful school to you all.

If you are looking to join us for one of our open days then you can find out more here

Please do get in touch if I can help in any way possible.
